since i have to wait for my laundry to dry for me to finish packing for madrid & go to sleep, i suppose i'll update. and let you all know just how wonderful and beautiful this week was.
so seth crashed into london (figuratively speaking) quite early on thursday morning. i met him at heathrow with a mess hugs, kisses. quite a scene was made at the arrivals gate. i like to think it cheered up the weary travelers. he spent the day recovering and discovering at the british museum while i had an all day rehearsal for love's labor's. i came home to a beautiful dinner of spaghetti & meatballs, wine & ice cream. what service!
friday, we finished off the first half of the semester with a fabulous presentation of the two shows - king john & love's labor's lost. both were wonderful and i'm still sort of mourning the loss of our time together in the navarre. but, onto bigger and better things - SPRING BREAK.
the next few days were a whirlwind of london, history, pubs, pasties, music, sleeping a bit too close for comfort, pizza, WATCHMEN, swedish fish, shakespeare and love love love.
here are the highlights:
reunited.

the changing of the guards (finally!)

excitement the tower of london.

our badass tour guide.
this picture is so british.

the globe. nerdalert.

making lifelong friends at the victoria & albert museum.

sunset walk through hyde park.

cornish pasties at covent garden. delish.

so we laughed, shoved, and romanced our way around london for a solid 2 days. got to take in the WATCHMEN movie (average), with maggie & her boyfriend, mike. and spent all of sunday night eating, packing & surfing youtube. lazy night. BECAUSE, of course, bright and early monday morning, we were on the eurostar, bleary-eyed and full of croissants, en route to PARIS. beautiful, beautiful paris.
now, for the sake of my sanity, i won't deal with trying to arrange more pictures into this entry. so paris saga to follow.
love.
